Today, my beautiful and lovely wife Mihaela, aka Mi, gave birth to Amalia Teodora at 08:15 AM, Romanian time! A few numbers related to Amalia:

• weight: 3.5 kg
• height: 53 cm
• birth note: 10

Both Mi and Amalia are ok. Mi will have to take little steps to recover from the cesarian intervention but with my help and my love, she will be fine, I’m sure.

The feeling seeing my baby girl was… overwhelming! Suddenly, everything in my life became so worthless, so blurred! For a few seconds I had no past, no present and no future! It is an amazing feeling I’m guessing each dad is trying when first seeing his baby! I felt like I have to surround both Mi and Amalia with my love and my care, to give them all the best I possible can.

I am so, so happy I can’t describe it!

We’re thrilled to make it public: we’re expecting a baby girl. Mi is pregnant in 7 months now so the baby is programmed to arrive in the mid of March. Her name will be Amalia Teodora and she will be the most beloved and spoiled kid in Isarie’s family

Unfortunately, the baby stopped his evolution in 10th week and we had to quit on him. The causes are unknown to date but there is a medical research in progress. The doctors told us this event is happening to 10% of the mothers.

It is as sad as this event comes after my grandmother died a week ago.

We are very depressed about the baby but we will continue to hope that we will be blessed with a healthy baby next year.

Few days ago we’ve found that Mihaela is pregnant. A few signs made her to take a pregnancy test! 2 lines was the result of test which means she’s pregnant!

We are so excited, I can’t tell you about. And a little scared being our first child. All we hope is that the baby will be healthy! This is what we do expect. Baby’s sex is not important for neither of us. The baby is expected to arrive at the start of June 2007. We can’t wait!
