We are rebuilding

Saturday, me, Mihaela, Petru, Adrian, Paul started the rebuilding of our new home. In a single day, we managed to buy a new entrance door, ceramic tiles for kitchen and bathroom, and we all cleaned the walls in livingroom and bedroom.

I made some photos. They are not great [there were a lot of dust in the air while shooting] but you can make an ideea of our new home.

My father in law, Petru, and Mihaela’s cousin, Adrian, are doing everything they can to finish both livingroom and bedroom so we can relocate on May 25. So far so good!

We have a new home!

It’s been very stressed out and very time consuming, but finally, we have a new home. Today we have signed the bills with the old apartment ower. Now, we are the owners of the apartment located in Alexandru cel Bun, Roman Voda Street! And we are very, very happy!

During the next period we will continue to invest money on the apartment. We have to replace the sanitary sewer system in the kitchen and bathroom and we have to repaint all the walls.

For the next month I will have sporadic access to the Internet because I have to contract with the local ISP GetNet.

After we finish the redecoration of our new home we will organize a party! And guess what? YOU are invited! We will publish the date and time here! So, make sure you come back often!

You may rent a coder

For two or three months now, I have been tried to get some projects on Rent a coder website but without any success. One of the latest bids is for this particular project: Looking For A CSS Layout Guru. My bid was USD $125.00.

Few days after I have placed the bid, I haved received a message letting me know that my bid had not been accepted by the buyer. He instead accepted another service provider JLA.

Unfortunately, the buyer decided to choose a different coder's bid (JLA for $100.00).

After another few days I receive this message from the buyer, unclejohn:

You put a bid on one of my recent projects (Looking For A CSS Guru). Unfortunately, I picked another programmer, and I may be in trouble. I'm not sure if they know what they are doing. Here, once again, are the specifications: [...]

I have worked for 5-6 hours on this project [the design of the page was quite wrong in my optinion and too boxy for my taste], changed 34 messages with the buyer and finally:

I will accept your work 100%. I will also write you a good review which details:

1) Your persistence on a difficult and detailed project.
2) Your strong communication skills.
3) Your diligence to meet our exact specifications.

So, I finally found someone willing to give me a chance to prove that I know what I’m doing, I love what I’m doing and I take pride in what I do. I would like to thank to both Rent a coder and unclejohn!
