Stefan Isarie

As you probably know already, I am Stefan Isarie, the owner, the author and the initiator of this website. I live in Iasi, Romania (this is in Europe, you know…).

This website is:

• a design exercise for myself (the website is permanentlly changing, evolving, both in design and features)
• a way to promote my work
• a way to search for my abroad relatives
• a way to interact to new people
• a method of sharing web development experiments and exercises

Technologies

Isarie’s is powered by Wordpress 2.0.

Only one post is specially designed, the other posts being strictly managed by WordPress.

Web standards and semantic [X]HTML are very important issues for me. That is why I have chosen to walk on this path almost a year back.

I had to upgrade my old, almost 1 year old WordPress 1.2 installation. I got so many spam lately that I could not take any more. And… voila! WordPress 2.0 powers Isarie.com!

The upgrade was pretty painless. From 1.2 to 1.5 and then from 1.5 to 2.0.
Have not found enough time to design a theme for Isarie.com but I hope to have a brand new design in a few weeks. For now, Isarie.com’s theme is designed by Azeem Azeez.

I’m checking the site to see if everything goes smooth. However, small inconsistencies might appear so please give me some more time to fix all of the issues.
